Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, I moved to New York City to study music. I received a Masters in jazz from New York University.
I have performed and studied with Ernie Watts, George Garzone, Ralph Lalama, Don Menza, Bill Watrous, Marvin Stamm, Joel DiBartolo, Kenny Werner, Frank Foster, Mike Holober, Tony Moreno, Dr. Tom Boras, Wildy Zumwalt, and Dr. Peter Vivona.
I have been teaching woodwinds and performing around Okinawa since arriving in 2002. Playing jazz with Kamura, and all the other local musicians has been a pleasure, and a great learning experience.
